100Acre Wardrobe is an ongoing personal project, through which I am exploring the textile binding of landscape and identity through dwelling and dressing. Looking to investigate and highlight the locational ethics of clothing/dressing, I adopt a performative, activist approach to gathering and harvesting materials within a 100 acre radius of my home: I tell my tale as I literally, and metaphorically, spin yarns of domesticity and landscape, dwelling and comfort, weather, pattern and seasonal colour, in order to weave myself a ‘wardrobe’.
